I have been as fascinated with the Debra Lafave shenanigans as anyone else. The end result of this is Debra is spending the next few years confined to her home, and the next seven years after that watched carefully by a parole officer. Her ex-husband doesn’t think this is right:
Sounds to me like he’s having issues with this. Lafave seems pretty relieved that this is all over. The boy’s mother seems to think the boy is not traumatized ( well, DUH! ). However, according to the ex:

This sorta reminds me of Kate Moss being treated for “sexual orientation“. In the case of Kate, getting her boyfriend straightened out ( or out of the picture ), seems to have done her some good. In the case of Debra, I’m thinking the same thing.
The defense of “being too pretty for prison” IMO is a CLASSIC!
As far as Debra’s future, am I the only one thinking a voyeur cam during that home incarceration would make her RICH?
Sounds to me like the only true loser in this whole charade is the ex. He needs to lighten up some.

First of all, let me say that I do not condone the act of rape by any person or persons, but damn, for a fourteen year old young man, if you have to be raped, pleeeesse god let it be Debra Lefave.
I think that’s sort of the prevailing mood. Sure, the kid is a victim of a “crime”. But, sheez.
There is still something entirely wrong with this.
If it was a male teacher who was “doing” a 14 year old female student, there would be no way that he would have been able to plea bargain himself to avoid prison…no way..no how…not in a million years.
There is no way he’d get off this lightly.
Besides, as a teenager, I’d have had a real hard time turning down that opportunity (than again, none of the teachers in my high school looked anything like Lafave). Check out that picture of her (look behind that cup in her hand)…LOL

Man you people are something. The women has a affair on her husband none the less a minor and your blaming him. Give the man a break his world has been turned upside down by this women and all you can say is how she looks please! Who the hell cares how she looks she should pay for what she did and being a teacher teaching our children she shouldn’t be allowed to teach ever again for that. And one last thing come on guys she isn’t that pretty!!!!
You obviously don’t understand men all that well. What else is there to this story? She won’t teach ever again, she’s been convicted of a sex crime. That part of the story’s not an issue. Secondly, she is THAT pretty. Drop dead gorgeous maybe not, but that’s not really the issue. She looks good and all the parts seem to be in their proper place, that’s all that’s required for Pavlov’s Dog to kick in. The issue is every “man” was once a fourteen year old fantasizing about the absolutely impossible ultimate fantasy of a fourteen year old male, having a teacher that looked and acted like Lafave. That’s what all this about. The original point I made here a long time ago was as impossible as that fantasy seemed when I was fourteen, it’s apparently happening all the time. And lastly, I do agree to some point with bsm in that rather than apparently distancing himself from Lafave’s apparently hyper-charged desires, he should have either divorced her long before that, or, adjusted his attitudes to deal with her desires. I’ve been there, done that, more than once. If you deal with it, it doesn’t last all that long as the taboo aspect of it loses it’s appeal if it’s “condoned”. If you try to repress it, it will bite you sooner or later. He should have been in that picture with her.
And lastly, the theme of this category IS Pavlov’s Dog. It is what it is for a very distinct reason. If you can’t see it, you need to examine your attitudes towards males a little closer. All I have to do is just mention the word boob and people come running like…….

let me tell you guy’s a little story. I was fourteen onced and not that long ago. When I was fifteen, I had a affair with a twenty seven year old neighbor. That may have been against the law, but let me tell you, I was in heaven with a very hot redhead. This fourteen year old will remember the affair with this woman the rest of his life with fond memories. The only damage done here is what the media has done by reporting it to the world and what everybody is doing to him now by the tell all thing that is going on. I promise that nothing happen to him that he did’nt want to happen…think about it
I don’t think people are upset because the young guy got laid, I think it’s more because we hold teachers to a different standard because we trust our children with them for a good part of our lives. They hold a level of influence and peer pressure in a controlled environment. Trust is all a parent has to feel safe about their kids. When a teacher violates that trust, well, they get it a lot worse than the hot red headed neighbor who every dad probably was secretly hoping his boy had what it took to nail it. If Lafave had been anything but a teacher, no one would have ever heard about her.
Now, if my teacher had looked like her, my parents would have had something to be concerned about. As it was, they didn’t. School boards I think knew better in the old days than to hire a red-hot blonde who apparenly liked to party naked.

Hey listen, about my thesis you posted….it was way to complicado….I apologize for that as well.I need to refine it….and shorten it….the original got a little to crazy and diverse….I’m working on some refinements….have NO IDEA when it will be finished. Might be a while. Very busy with building my house ( re-building is actualy the word ) right now. Man what stress….I wish Id’a just bought a trailer and moved into the darn thing.
I’m building a house as well and getting ready to move. So, let’s sit on the thesis until we’re both a little more settled.
